Your application includes robust security features designed to protect both client data and proprietary business information.
The application uses Base44's secure authentication system. Access to the internal dashboard (Clients, Projects, full Pricing Library) is strictly restricted to authorized, logged-in staff members only. This ensures that sensitive operational data remains exclusive to your team.
The public-facing Estimate Generator is completely isolated from your internal data. It uses specific "backend functions" that only allow it to submit new data and view the single project being worked on. It cannot access your full client list or other projects.
Your comprehensive Pricing Library (managed in the database) is not connected to the public tool. The public generator currently uses a simplified, separate set of base prices embedded in its own code. This ensures your full, proprietary internal pricing database remains completely private and inaccessible to the public.
All data is stored in a secure, managed database with strict access controls, ensuring that sensitive business information is never exposed to unauthorized users.
